Fire destroys Fayetteville home

FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WAFF) -

A fire in Tennessee destroyed a home Friday morning.

It happened on Remington Drive in Fayetteville. It took firefighters several hours to put out the flames. The homeowner was not present at the time of the fire.

The Tennessee State Fire Marshal was on-scene trying to determine the cause. Investigators are expected to return to the scene Saturday morning.
