Police: Man wanted for sex offense against child

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted for first degree sex offense on a child.

Twenty-three year old Diaz-Silva is wanted by CMPD's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.

He is described as an Hispanic male, 5'7" tall, weighing 150 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Diaz-Silva should immediately contact VCAT at (704)336-VCAT, or call 911.
