Lubbock high school students are gearing up to compete in Saturday's Robot Challenge.
The challenge will take place in the Frenship High School gym starting at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Teams of 9th-12th graders from Lubbock and the surrounding cities will take part in the event in the hopes of qualifying for this year's Panhandle Regional Championship on February 15th.
Community members are welcome. Frenship High School is located at 902 Dowden Rd. in Wolfforth.
