Coming off an impressive 82-72 win over 12th ranked Baylor, Texas Tech (10-8, 2-3) continued its winning ways with a 60-49 victory over TCU on Saturday evening at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth.
The Red Raiders withstood a rough shooting day, making just 38 percent from the field by holding the Horned Frogs to an even worse 20 percent shooting.
Texas Tech was led in scoring by Robert Turner and Dejan Kravic with 12 points each. Kravic added 10 rebounds to post the game's only double-double.
The victory snapped a 12-game road losing streak for the Red Raiders, and even better, gave Texas Tech back-to-back Big 12 victories for the first time since February 2011 - a span of 50 conference games.
The Red Raiders look for a three-game winning streak next, when they take on West Virginia on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Morgantown. Texas Tech dropped an 89-86 overtime thriller with the Mountaineers earlier this season at United Spirit Arena.
