City of Lubbock offices to close for MLK Day

City of Lubbock offices will be closed Monday, January 20th, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Residential

In observance of the holiday, there will be no trash collection on Monday, January 20th. Monday's normally scheduled trash dumpster and cart collection will be moved to Tuesday and Tuesday's normally scheduled trash dumpster collection will be moved to Wednesday. Scheduled collection for Thursday and Friday (January 23rd and January 24th) will not be affected.

Recycling

The City of Lubbock drop-off Recycling and Citizen Collection Stations at 1631 84th St. and 208 Municipal Dr. will also be closed on Monday, January 20th.

Landfill

The West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill will be closed on Monday, January 20th, in observance of the MLK holiday.
