LPD arrests Rip Griffin robbery suspect

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock Police have identified and arrested a suspect accused of holding up a local convenience store.

Police responded to a robbery at the Rip Griffin at 4257 34th Street just before 9 p.m. Monday night.

Police say the suspect entered the store, selected some items, walked to the register and demanded cash from the cashier while claiming to have a gun in his pocket.

The suspect fled the scene after observing the clerk pressing the silent alarm button.

Police say David Paul Reazola, 24, was arrested before noon on Wednesday, Jan. 22, on a parole violation.
