Salvation Army to open as a warming station

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Salvation Army will be open as a warming station and emergency shelter on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. as cold weather heads for the South Plains.

The warming station and emergency shelter will be open until Friday, Jan. 24.

On Thursday, Jan. 23, the "Survive the Night" program will be activated.

The program will provide gloves, socks, blankets, and a meal to those in need.
