On Wednesday the driver of a pickup died from injuries she received in an accident on Tuesday morning.
A New Mexico woman remains in critical condition following an early morning crash.
The accident happened around 1:45am in the 2600 Block of South Loop 289. Police say 22-year-old Lindsey Marie Slaton was driving on the access road when she lost control of her truck, drove up onto the Loop, and hit a concrete barrier head on.
EMS took Slaton to University Medical Center, where she is being treated for critical injuries.
