Lubbock Vector Control Working On Killing Mosquito Population

Since the mosquito population explosion last week, the entire city and county have been sprayed at least once. Lubbock Vector Control adds that they'll keep spraying as weather permits.

The giant mosquitoes we are seeing now are considered "nuisance biters." Lab testing on these insects have not shown any disease-causing virus activity, so far.
