40-Year-Old Bicyclist Injured on Avenue Q - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A 40-year-old man is recovering from injuries he received Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a car, while on his bicycle.

Around 5:30pm, Lubbock Police say Oscar Arguijo was weaving in and out of traffic on Avenue Q. The traffic was stopped at a light, but as a car moved through the turning lane it struck Arguijo.

EMS took Arguijo to University Medical Center where he remained under evaluation in the emergency room as of Tuesday night.
