PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) -

Plainview City Manager Greg Ingham has announced his plans to retire.

He's looking to leave his position in June, but has told city leaders he'll stay longer if necessary.

He says he will be there to help create the coming year's budget.

Ingham has been with the city of Plainview for ten years.

Before that, he held positions in Levelland and Littlefield.

We asked about his plans for retirement, and Ingham tells us he's exploring opportunities to do some outside consulting work.
