Woman still in critical condition after three-car wreck

A woman injured in a three-car wreck on Saturday afternoon in now listed in "critical but stable" condition at UMC.

The jaws of life were used to pull 19-year-old Sierra Harris out of one of the vehicles.

The accident happened in Lubbock around 3 p.m. on Saturday off of 34th and Knoxville. Police say Guadalupe Alejandro, 36, was headed north bound when he ran a stop sign, hitting Harris' west bound vehicle.

A third vehicle, driven by William Boone, 54, with passenger Linda Boone, 57, then collided with Alejandro's car.

Police tell us Alejandro was arrested for intoxication assault at the scene, and still remains at UMC. Alejandro's passenger, Blake Townley, 30, was also arrested for public intoxication.
