Lubbock police worked multiple weather-related wrecks on Monday night.
Most of those have been on the Marsha Sharp Freeway, Loop 289 and along the Interstate.
Roughly 40 wrecks were reported between the hours of 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the city limits alone.
Police say the worst wreck of the night, so far, happened just before 8 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 27, just south of 19th Street.
That's where police say the driver of a pickup lost control and rolled several times.
The driver was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
