Watching Peyton Manning make the same mistakes from the Super Bowl in Lego form may ease the sting for Broncos fans. Maybe not, but it's still fascinating to watch.

Hopefully, the first few days of the Olympics will be better than the Super Bowl. We can only handle so much garbage disguised as sports before losing our minds.

Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is the only suitable description for the arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones.

(RNN) - Hopefully, you had a backup plan for Sunday night, because the Super Bowl imploded and left little for salvaging.

On the bright side, everything that was non-football related was exciting. Well, except for the commercials.

Brian would beg to differ about the latter point, but this is the same man who drafted a team for the Puppy Bowl. The Puppy Bowl.

As for George, who is now convinced he is the only true sports fan between the two, the game could not have ended fast enough. He was dominating with the Cleveland Browns on Madden 25, and he wanted to get to his next game. Maybe the real-life Browns would have given the Seahawks a tougher fight.

By the way, opening ceremonies for the Olympics start Friday. Let's all get geared up for highly subjective, politically infused contests [sometimes sports] that capture the attention of the entire world.

In other words, we may want to prepare for a second major disappointment this week.
