LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock grand jury now has enough evidence to send William Hill to trial.

Police say Hill was the passenger in a car that led officers on a short chase through central Lubbock that injured an officer last month.

Police found him hiding in an apartment complex.

Hill was indicted on Tuesday for evading arrest.

The driver, Shelly Blair, was indicted late last month, for aggravated assault against a public servant.

Police say she slowed down and let Hill out during the chase, and pinned the officer against a mail truck when he got out to chase Hill.

The officer was hospitalized for several days.
