Lubbock Fire Marshal investigating Wednesday morning fire

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock Fire Rescue and Lubbock police responded to a fire in the 3300 block of Duke Street around 2:50 a.m. Wednesday morning.

When crews arrived on the scene they found a boarded up home engulfed in flames.

It took firefighters 30 minutes to put out the blaze.

Fire officials say the residence suffered 100% smoke damage and fire damage to the garage and kitchen. 

The Lubbock Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
