Lubbock Fire Rescue responds to Friday morning fire

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Five Lubbock Fire Rescue units responded to a structure fire in the 2100 block of 37th Street at 2:15 a.m. Friday morning.

Officials say an electrical malfunction caused a small fire in the attic.

The Red Cross is providing assistance to the 9 residents of the home due to electrical service being cut off.

No injuries were reported.
