Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Traffic Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A motorcyclist remains in critical condition Friday night after slamming into a semi in SouthWest Lubbock.

Police say the driver of a semi failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Spur 327 and Iola around 7:30 Friday morning. That's when 36-year-old Erik Petmecky's motorcycle hit the back of the truck. The driver told police, he never saw the motorcycle.

Police are investigating whether the rainy weather played a role in the crash.
