Gamecocks baseball opener postponed until Saturday

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Opening Weekend for South Carolina baseball will start a bit later than scheduled due to the ice storm in the Midlands.

According to the university's athletics department, Friday's opener against Bucknell has been postponed until Saturday.

The Gamecocks will then play a double header to start the season beginning at noon on Saturday.
