Red Raiders get big road win at #25 Oklahoma

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Putting the off-the-court incident with Marcus Smart and Jeff Orr behind them, the Red Raiders went to Oklahoma and knocked off the #25 Sooners 68-60 Wednesday Night.

Led by a strong defense that led to easy offensive scores, the Red Raiders opened up a 16-point halftime lead and held off a late Sooners charge. Robert Turner led the way with 16 while Dusty Hannahs and Jaye Crockett pitched in 10.

The Red Raiders are now 13-11 overall and 5-6 in Conference. This road win at Oklahoma was Tech's first, besides winning at TCU, since their win at Baylor in 2011.
