Emergency officials respond to Monday morning train wreck

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Buffalo Springs Fire Rescue, DPS, and the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office responded to a wreck involving a truck and a train early Monday morning.

The wreck occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 84 near the Coors Distribution Plant.

Officials say the truck did not make it over the tracks before being struck by the train.

Railroad officials are investigating the accident.

No injuries were reported.

Westbound traffic has not been affected.
