Ken Jennings has now passed the $2-million mark. The 30-year-old software engineer from Salt Lake City debuted on June 2nd, 2004.
After 59-consecutive wins, Jennings has become a pop culture icon. He even has some ideas who might portray him, in a made for TV movie. "Alfred E. Newman, a young Tony Randall, that one is my favorite, one of the Snap, Crackle and Pop Chefs... Snap, I guess. I think I look like Snap. Herbie the Misfit Elf, from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. These are all the actors that need the work, I would say. Maybe Herbie the misfit elf, I haven't seen him in a while."
Elfish or not, Ken now places second among the list of all-time top game show winners. Kevin Olmstead took home $2,180,000 from "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" back in 2001.
