Marcus Smart returns, Cowboys dominate Red Raiders

After a three-game suspension for striking a fan at the United Spirit Arena, Oklahoma State sophomore guard Marcus Smart returned to the court against Texas Tech Saturday, and he didn't disappoint.

Smart tallied 16 points and 10 assists as the Cowboys torched the Red Raiders 82-64 in Stillwater.

The Pokes had five players in double figures led by Le'Bryan Nash with a game high 21 points. Jordan Tolbert led the way with 15 points for the Red Raiders, but anemic performances from team leader Jaye Crocket and Dejon Kravic left the team hanging offensively.

Tech was not able to match the Cowboys energy all afternoon. After trailing by only 9 at the half, Oklahoma State quickly stretched the lead to double digits and never looked back.

The Red Raiders have now lost three straight games and fall below .500 at 13-14 on the year and 5-9 in the Big 12.

Tech will host Kansas State on Tuesday night at the United Spirit Arena.
