Two days after the death of Alex Courtney Dean, the Post community is pulling together.
Several family members, along with dozens of others, met at the First Baptist Church on Saturday night to sing, pray and light a candle in honor of Alex.
But the support extends far beyond the walls of the church. Just outside of the home where Alex died rests a vigil created by neighbors and friends.
While the tight-knit community mourns the death of little Alex, they are also celebrating her life using cards, balloons and animals.
Many said they are relying on faith to carry them through.
