LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are investigating reports of an armed robbery Saturday night.

It happened around 9 p.m. at a residence in the 1900 block of East Brown Street near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.

Police say two men wearing masks entered the home and held a family at gunpoint.

Police say the male victim was walking from his vehicle to the front door when a suspect grabbed him from behind, placed a gun to the back of his head and forced him into the house.

A second suspect followed them inside and demanded money and property from the female victim.

One of the suspect struck the male victim in the forehead with a handgun before fleeing on foot.

Police say two other suspects waited outside the front door during the robbery. All four suspects fled on foot, leaving a vehicle behind.

Officers processed the vehicle for evidence before having it towed.
