Twin cold fronts could bring fog, freezing drizzle Tuesday night

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Two strong cold fronts will bring afternoon highs from the 60s/70s down to the 30s/40s on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Strong northerly winds mean wind chills back in the 20s and 30s Tuesday morning.

Late tonight and tomorrow morning areas of fog, freezing fog, drizzle, freezing drizzle, and/or flurries will be possible. While any precipitation will be light, spotty areas of ice will be possible Wednesday morning. The potential for showers will be slightly greater over the southern one-third or so of the KCBD viewing area.

Wednesday afternoon will see the storm move out but highs will remain well below normal.
