BOSTON, Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The American College of Corporate Directors has conferred Professional Director Certifications on five retired General Officers, including 1 Four Star, 2 Lieutenant, 1 Major and 1 Brigadier. The Professional Director Certification is the original, oldest and best known of the public company director credentials.

The Professional Director Certification demonstrates to shareholders and regulators alike that the holder has completed a rigorous and extended program of public company director education. When the credential is included in the holders public proxy bio, there is no question that they are qualified public company directors, not only well trained, but prepared to take on the responsibility of public company directorship.
