Lady Raiders unable to climb past West Virginia

Texas Tech was unable to earn their first Conference win Wednesday night as No. 10 West Virginia pulled away for a 69-37 win.

Ivonne Cook Taylor led the Lady Raiders with 12.

Tech was just 16-61 from the floor, shooting 26 percent as they fell to 6-21 overall and 0-16 in the Big 12.

The Lady Raiders were hoping their second trip to Morgantown would be as sweet as their first as last year they won 77-73 in overtime in West Virginia.

The Lady Raiders now return home for a special Senior Day as they host Texas 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Spirit Arena.
