Plant Closes, 70 Jobs Lost In Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

70 Lubbock workers lost their jobs Tuesday when a manufacturing plant shut its doors.

Manchester Tank Produces low-pressure vessels for propane, air, refrigerant, and industrial applications. The plant employed 16 management and 54 hourly workers.

The company said a lack of business led to the closure. Manchester Tank says the employees will receive pay plus medical and life insurance benefits for another 60 days.
