A Lubbock man convicted on drug charges will spend the next 70 years behind bars.
27-year-old Jacinto Santos received his sentence on Friday afternoon.
Police arrested him in September 2012 for possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver.
Prosecutors say he received a stiff sentence because he was also within 1,000 feet of Lubbock ISD property, which is considered a drug-free zone.
