Lady Raiders lose regular season finale

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lady Raiders have come close many times to getting their first Big 12 win.

Unfortunately, their last chance on the road, wasn't one of those opportunities as Texas Tech lost to Oklahoma 87-32 Monday in a game moved up due to winter weather in the area.

Tech (6-23 overall, 0-18 Big 12) led 6-3 early but couldn't hut from the three-point line, connecting on 1 of 15 tries for a 7 percent success rate.

Ivonne CookTaylor led Tech with 12 points. Amber Battle only had 4 on 2 of 17 shooting.

Tech went without a basket for almost 12 minutes in the second half as Oklahoma went on a 23-0 run to open up a 55 point lead.

The Lady raiders will enter the Big 12 Championship as the 10th seed, playing the 7th seed in the first round.
