LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Renee Valencia has been sentenced to life in prison for the 2010 murder of 22-year-old Zachary Matta.

The deadly shooting happened outside the Daiquiri Lounge back in 2010.

Matta died after he was shot several times in the head, neck and chest.

He will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
