Lubbock Nursing Students Benefit From Local Bank Fundraising Efforts - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock nursing students just received a big boost in their education thanks to a local bank.

American State Bank responded to the nursing shortage back in 2002, by creating its nursing endowment fund. On Wednesday ASB pledged another $100,000 to the cause. That brings the fund's total to $400,000.

So far, 55 local nursing students have benefited from ASB's support.
