Suspect in custody after Dillman Elementary bomb threat

BAILEY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

The Bailey County Sheriff's Office tells us one man is in custody after a bomb threat against an elementary school was posted online.

The superintendent tells us someone posted a threat referencing the Dillman Elementary campus on Facebook Thursday afternoon.

Muleshoe police received a call around 12:30 p.m. and evacuated the school as a precaution. Police called in bomb dogs from Lubbock County and Cannon Air Force Base to search the building and no threat was found.

The sheriff's office has the suspect in custody, charged with making a terroristic threat. Police say there may be more charges, pending the outcome of the investigation.
