Tift County wins 6A State Title with win over Wheeler

MACON, GA (WALB) -

Tift County made sure that Southwest Georgia had at least one boys team earn a state title defeating Wheeler 63-49.

With Georgia Tech head coach Brian Gregory in attendance, future Yellow Jacket Tadric Jackson had 15 pts, 3 rebounds, 2 pasts and 3 steals.

The Blue Devils raced out to a 11-3 lead by the end of the first quarter but were only up 2 at half.
