BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
A Bossier City man has been arrested on drug charges after an investigation by the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force, says Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington.
A news release from the sheriff's department says 22-year-old Lee Raines, of the 3300 block of Caprizzi Lane at the Villagio Apartment Homes, has been charged with possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of clonazepam and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigators seized 666.5 ecstasy pills, with an estimated street value of $20 per pill, 261 grams of marijuana, clonazepam and $310 in cash from Raines' apartment.
Raines was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility Friday afternoon.
The Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force is a partnership between Whittington and Bossier City Police Chief Shane McWilliams to combat illegal drug activity and associated crimes throughout Bossier Parish. It was established in October 2012.
