Natchitoches authorities arrest 5 suspects in drug investigation

NATCHITOCHES, LA (KSLA) -

Natchitoches investigators have arrested five residents in connection with an on-going narcotics investigation that resulted from citizen complaints.

According to a news release from Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, agents searched a residence in the 1400 block of Grace Avenue after complaints about suspicious activities at the location. There were several people at the house and authorities seized suspected narcotics, weapons, and drug paraphernalia.

Derrick Terrell Demery, 30, was charged with 9 crimes, including possession with intent to distribute crack, synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.

Jerome Ray Pier, 31, charged with possession of methamphetamine, and failure to appear. Tiffany Lakeisha Williams and 19-year-old Erica Michelle Solitaire were both charged with failure to appear.

Jeffrey Lynn Washington, 30, was charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated battery.

Demery, Pier, and Washington were booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention awaiting awaiting bond, and Williams and Solitaire were released on bond.
