Lubbock PD
After a quadruple murder, two shootings and a police chase, now Lubbock Police have a bank robbery to solve.
The City Bank on 50th Street and Indiana was hit for the third time this year. It happened before 10 o'clock Friday morning. The robber walked through the North door, wrote a note to the teller saying he wanted money and had a gun. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say he was either a White or Hispanic male. He was wearing a blue Hawaiian shirt and blue cap. He weighs between 130 and 150 pounds, and stands about 5 foot 11" or taller. He fled the scene in a late 70's, early 80's white Ford pickup truck.
This is the sixth Lubbock Bank robbery this year, and half of them have been at this City Bank. If you have any information you are urged to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
