A Lubbock federal judge sentenced the owner of the Lubbock Shooting Range to six years in prison Friday.
54 year-old Leslie Wayne Spivey Junior pleaded guilty to a three count indictment in July. In his plea agreement, Spivey admitted to distributing the prescription pain killer, Diazepam, at least three times while he was armed with a firearm. He also admitted to making false statements about his business records.
In addition to his jail sentence, Spivey must also give up his shooting range and the 40 acres of land it sits on.
