Lubbock Curfew Effective This Weekend

A curfew for Lubbock teens goes back into effect this weekend.

The city council decided to restore the curfew earlier this month after it expired in June. The curfew means students ages 16 and under cannot be out after 11 p.m. on weeknights and before six in the morning on school days.

On weekends, the curfew is midnight
