Lubbock Library Hosts Book Sale This Weekend

This weekend, you can take books home from the public library and keep them.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Mahon Library is holding its "Library Book Sale." The sale will be open to the public Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday with additional discounts.

Mahon Library is located downtown, at 9th and Avenue L. The sale benefits "The Friends of the Library."

    Emergency Responders are on scene at Levelland Middle School for a bomb threat. All students, faculty, and staff have been evacuated and are safe, according to officials with the City of Levelland. As of 1:40 p.m., the all-clear has been given.
