Tyler pharmacist killed in Sunday morning crash near Austin

AUSTIN, TX (KLTV) - A Tyler woman was killed Sunday morning in a crash just north of Austin on Interstate 35.

Department of Public Safety representatives say Seni Sise, 58, was killed when the Audi SUV she was riding in was struck by a Ford van while switching lanes. The Audi, which was traveling northbound, spun into the median, striking a large light pole.

Sise, who was in the backseat, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people in the Audi were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening

Representatives from Trinity Mother Frances confirm that Sise was an employee there.

"We are saddened by the loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family," said William Knouse, public information officer.

The driver of the van was not injured.

The accident was reported to DPS at 7:17 a.m. Sunday.
