United donates $30,000 to Children's Home of Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

If you drove by the United on 82nd and Frankford on Tuesday, you might have seen a big celebration going on.

The Children's Home of Lubbock received a $30,000 check from United.

The children's home celebrated their 60th anniversary on Tuesday.

More than 6,000 kids have been helped out by the home's services since it was started back in 1954.
