Red Raider baseball shut out by TCU

FORT WORTH, TX (KCBD) -

The Red Raiders will have to wait till Saturday to try for their first win in Fort Worth since 2005 as 24th-ranked Tech baseball lost to No. 24 TCU 9-0 in their Big 12 Series opener Friday night.

Tech only had four hits in the game that saw TCU score one in the third, four in the 4th, two in the 5th, one in the 6th and one in the 8th.

Dominic Moreno went 3.2 innings giving up six hits and five earned runs.

The Red Raiders fall to 17-7 overall and 1-3 in the Big 12. The two teams continue their series Saturday afternoon at 4.
