Lubbock County Commissioners will be considering on Monday whether to install speed cameras in some Lubbock County school zones.
KCBD first reported on this in February, when the county was approached by American Traffic Solutions about installing the cameras.
ATS is the same company that put up Lubbock's red light cameras back in 2008, which were quickly taken down.
According to ATS, the cameras would come at no cost to the county, and ticket revenue would be split 50-50.
The commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Monday morning.
