Lubbock area players lead West Texas A&M women to Final 4

ERIE, PA (KCBD) -

Playing in the NCAA Division II Elite 8 in Erie, Pennsylvania, West Texas A&M rolled past Limestone 81-44 to move into the Final 4.

The Lady Buffs were led by several players from our area as Coronado's Grad Devin Griffin had 13. Sudan's Grad Lacee Logan added 10 and her sister Danielle Logan scored a bucket.

WT led 39-22 at the half and stretched the lead in the 2nd half, moving their record to 31-2. The Lady Buffs were playing in their 5th Elite Eight, but first since 2009.

West Texas A&M now meets Nova Southeastern (28-4) 5 p.m. Wednesday Night in the Final 4.
