Red Raiders sweep doubleheader

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Playing a midweek doubleheader against Arkansas Pine Bluff, the 24th ranked Red Raiders didn't bluff, getting the sweep 2-0 and 5-1 at Rip Griffin Park.

In Game 1, Matt Withrow went 7 strong innings allowing just 1 run while striking out 10.

In Game 2, Dylan Dusek went 7 giving up 3 hits and striking out 7.

Tech is now 21-7 overall and 16-2 at home.

The Red Raiders will complete this 5 game homestand with their Big 12 Series home opener against Texas this weekend.
