LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are looking for a suspect accused of robbing the 7-11 at 3802 34th Street on March 22 around 4 a.m.

Police say the suspect entered the store with a gun handle protruding from his hooded jacket pocket. The suspect grabbed the gun handle and demanded the store clerk open the registers.

The suspect, described as a black male, was dressed all in black except for gray-colored shoes, took an undisclosed amount of money and a carton of Newport 100's before fleeing.

Two days later, police say a man with a similar description robbed employees at United Market Street on 50th Street.

Police say the suspect held up employees who were walking from the gas kiosk to the main store at gunpoint and then fled the scene.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with any information relating to this case to contact Crime Line at 741-1000 or Detective Justin Martinez at 806-548-3823.
