Texas Tech rebounds to beat Texas in game two

The 24th ranked Red Raiders bounced back with an 8-4 victory Saturday over No. 12 Texas in game number two of the three-game series.

The victory evened the series after Texas' 11-1 win in game one.

Jonny Drozd pitched seven innings in relief to pick up his third win of the season.

The Red Raider offense collected 11 hits, with every starter collecting at least one.

A record-setting crowd of 4,353 people at Dan Law Field saw the victory.

Texas Tech will go for its first series win over Texas in Lubbock since 2002 with a 2:07 p.m. first pitch on Sunday.
