Texas South Plains Honor Flight is proud to announce that they are joining forces with Stars and Stripes Drive-in on April 4, 2014, for the premier of Captain America: the Winter Soldier. Nifty Fifties Car Club of West Texas will also be there with an assortment of vintage automobiles.
Over the preceding seven decades, millions of Americans have answered the call of duty as the U.S. has fought wars in Europe, the Pacific, Korea, and Vietnam. Today, most of those aging veterans have yet to visit the National World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Texas South Pains Honor Flight is dedicated to honoring the men and women who served by taking them to our nation's capitol so they can see these monuments and so they know that a grateful nations deeply appreciates their service and sacrifice.
On April 4, 2014, Stars and Stripes will donate 10% of their ticket and concession sales for the premier of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. We welcome everyone to attend this event and show their support for our area veterans.
